The maximum temperature is 31 °C or 88 °F in the summer and the minimum temperature is 19 °C or 66 °F in the winter. The average annual temperature is 25 °C or 77 °F. The rainy season begins in the middle of June and ends in August, with scattered showers until the middle of October.

In Riviera Maya the climate is semitropical, with an average annual temperature of 26 °C or 79 °F, reaching 35 °C or 95 °F in the summer. The highest temperatures are registered between the months of May and August. The rainy season is during September and October.
